I remember seeing a diagramn of the wiring to the fan relay but can't find it. A couple years ago had the relay fixed and not too long ago got a recall notice but well over mileage. The ac is working but not the fan. The wife noticed that the wires were hot a couple of days ago when she hit it with her foot. Not sure what to look at first. I do have power at the connection. Any help would be great.

straight wire the fan motor and see if it works. if it does,work your way back to the control,checking everything in between.

1961 GM pickups didn't have AC from the factory. It has to be retro air,you might want to check their site for diagnostics.

Could be the blower motor resister. That was the problem with my wife's car....check Rock Auto online, about $28 for your Sierra.

Yep the blower motor resistor was bad. But cost me $59.00
