I bought a new ignition switch. I put it into dash, but I can't get the lock cylinder in the switch.

I tightened the bezel nut very well, but that didn't help.

What should I do?

The switch has to be in the lock position to get the lock in it. There is a slot in the bottom of the hole that the lock goes in that must be turned all the way CCW with a large flat blade screwdriver, or something, that will turn the switch.

Thank's Don. Stupid question, what does CCW means?

The lock cylinder went into the switch like a charm. Thank's for your advice Don!
