Buffing has started in the 56. These picts are after step one of a 3 step process. The first is the 3 quarter shot of the left rear you can see the color combo
This shot shows the shine that is coming out. the car in the background and reflected in the rear quarter is a 57 Pontiac of a fellow club member, a very nice car.
Here is the dash freshly painted and buffed. No more extra holes and all the scratches. The top was really cracked from the sun.
This slightly blurry pict show the fat mat applied. Kinda looks like the space shuttle with all that heat and sound protection.
After a long weekend break for both me and the painter, side trim starts going on next Wednesday.

very nice. do not see many 4dr hardtops. i had a 57 4dr sedan that color. traded it in on my 65 el camino.
