Last week the 51 got a new hat and coat. And yesterday we put it all together.

After looking at the pictures today I'm thinking it may need some new shoes too!

You can't really tell by my photoshop work, but I'm thinking spider caps, trim rings and ww.

We have a few nicks from putting the doors on and the gaps not staying as they had in primer. And we have the dreaded clear coat runs, so we are looking at many hours of color sanding and buffing but that is the fun part right?!

Looking great Bill.

I was thinking spiders too, but in the end I went with bullet lugs and a chrome center. You might like the same.

Bill, Your car looks great, I love the color and I'm also a big fan of 2-tone paint. Your in about the same place with your car as I am right now.

Looks awesome!
I drove a '50 from the day I got my license thru college! Sadly, we sold it when I got married. I recently got the chance to buy the same car back from the man I sold it to; but the deal fell through and now I own a nicer one: 4 Dr Styleline Deluxe!

It's Autumn Copper Pearl. It looks about the same as yours which I hope mine turns out as good as yours!
