I have a "Custom Rod Gauges" instrument cluster in my '55 Chevy, it was in car when I purchased, so I don't have any instructions. I changed ring gear and pinion and now need to re-calibrate speedometer. Can someone please help me with instructions for re-calibrating this speedometer, or even better if someone could send me a copy of the installation manual with these instructions. I e-mailed the company but no answer. I also called the contact number but got recording that it is no longer a working number. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jim

Custom Rod used VDO movements.
Here's a link to their set up.

I had the custom rod gage set in my 57 and have the instructions somewhere. Here is a link to a proceedure for vdo which is the speedometer that is used.

My gauges are a cluster set, so it's not just the speedometer, but also tachometer, and all the other gauges. And, since I have just the one adjustment button, I assume it will be used for adjusting the tachometer also. I'm not sure the instructions for just the VDO speedometer will work with this cluster set. What do you think?

I think the one button is multifunction and you push it until you get the cal you wnat. I seem to remember a jumper on the back of the cluster to set the tach cylinders. The next time that I go to my shop, I will look for the proceedure which was for a 57.

I think the only thing you can adjust/calibrate is the speedo.
You should have gotten the info you needed with the links in the other forum.
Turns out that CRG didn't copy the whole VDO procedure in their intstructions. The VDO procdure should fix everything.
