I'm piecing a rear together and I need to round up a pinion yoke and the thick washer that goes under the pinion nut. There should be bunches of them around, but I can't locate any.

I bought three center sections at the swap meet a few years back just to have in stock, one of them was partially disassembled, but pretty sure I have what you're looking for.

I've got the yoke and washer, it's from one of the later years, I'll E mail you a couple of pictures cause I don't know how to post them here.
It has one funny looking spot on it, don't know how that happened, casting flaw maybe??

I have a couple for 10-bolts laying around. Let me know what OD and ID you need.
You might also try these guys: http://www.dallasdifferential.com/
I bought a bunch of 10-bolt parts from them last week.

It is MANDATORY that they be from a 57-64 Chevy rear!!! The later 10bolt gears WILL NOT interchange with the 64-earlier rears.

Tom, The parts differential I have has a set of 343 gears set in it, as I remember. They appear to be in good shape, couldn't check a gear lash pattern, because of it being partially diasassembled upon purchase. It appears someone had taken the yoke off to replace a pinion seal, so no pinion preload to do any checking.
I'll get out behind the garage this weekend and check it out further and get back to you, if that ratio will work for you. I could ship those and the yoke and washer at the same time.

OK, let me know.
BUT, if it is a Chevy rear, the ratio will be something different from 3.43, such as 3.36 or 3.55.

Tom, I meant the pinion nut washer, not the gears!

Tom, I am currently looking for recommendations on a streetable rear end for a 56 Chevy SBC 350/325 HP, Turbo tranny. The original is leaking and clunky when shifting . I was given your name by a fellow forum gear head that said you knows the Tri-Fives inside and out! Live up the road from you in NW OKC. Thanks

Russ, if you don't hear from Tom here, start a private topic with him. He is definitely the right guy.
