I see that using an S10 chassis under an early Chevy is a good way to go. I'm just wondering where I can find some good information concerning this mod.
Thank You

Where did you see that? I know a company that makes a bracket kit to use a 49-54 pickup body on a S10 frame.

I know a few folks that use S10 rear ends and transmissions but not the entire frame.

Are you sure they wern't talking about the pickups? There is a company making a simple conversion kit for that, but I'm not so sure about the cars.

Just read a story on a guy that put a 41 F**d two door sedan on a S-10 frame.
The magazine is Rod Action Sept 1991.

I've seen lots of rods on S-10 frames. Some work better than others. Their wheelbase lends them to rod applications, however, some rods are narrower in the front end than that frame will accommodate. The trucks don't "pinch" in the front as bad as the cars do in most cases. Check it out with your tape measure to see.
