A guy that has emailed me has a '41 1/2 ton Pickup that has its original engine but no plates. If he wants to go to to the DMV and and squares it with them, as regards the titling using the engine number, where can he get repro plates please?

Chevs of the 40's has body number plates, but they say they are for a Special Delux. I wonder if you called them if you could get one stamped for a pu or other model
