New 2011 Reg-Cab S/B $14,950
I run a lawn car business and its just a 1 man show and was thinking about picking up one of these.
The dealership in Vancouver BC has 20 of these trucks left. 5 year 160,000 warranty. They also have a $3000 cash for clunker deal if I trade in my 1995 3/4 ford. So that would bring it down to with taxes $13,700.
In 5 years I believe the re-sale value might still be $10,000.
KBB says that truck in a 2007 is still worth $12,750.
Any opinion's on the V6 engine regarding power and tow capabilities? Anyone own one of these trucks.

I bought a 2011 reg cab short box 2 wheel drive in Nov. has LS pkg with a V6. has enough power for me, driving almost 40 mile both ways to work almost all highway. have about 5,300 miles so far. cruises easy @70 mph have not towed anything yet(does'nt have tow pkg)has heavy suspension. truck height is way higher than my S-10 so if you are towing you might need a different type of hitch so the trailer will not be @ a angle. best gas mileage so far was 18 mpg. if driving around the city probably 16mpg. dis likes- seats are a magnet for everything, have to use a vacuum cleaner to get hair out of seat cloth not on seat cloth but in cloth. a real p.i.t.a. 2 glove boxes worth #%^&. driver seat will not recline forward as to put something behind the seat. probably a few other things. likes-roomy cab, steers easy, drives easy enough power (for me not towing yet)B.T.W that is a great price. watch for them to add money to write up the contract they got me for that.check your bank, credit union for financing before signing to them.need any more info let me know.all in all would i buy it again yes, but a different dealer.

I have an 07 2wd s/b LT v-8.
Out of 20 trucks, I would look for the most options for the money. A few in particular would be G 80 posi, trailer wiring, and power windows. You cannot reach the passenger crank from the drivers seat.
We have a few in the fleet at work, v-6 long bed, ánd they are bulletproof.
If you get one, go to the junkyard and get an LT center console and lover seat center as it has a lid so you can put it up without emptying it, and the lower locking storage is great, especially for a business.
Love my truck, rides and handles like a big car from the seventies. Reminds me of a 76 Cutlass Supreme 455 I had.

Do any of your guys's trucks have cruise control? Also do they come with a power locks/key fob?
I know the one I was looking at has, AC, Power steering, roll up windows. Haven't seen it it person.
Can you add cruise control at all if not?

great idea on the console Vista Cruiser mine has no cover and spills everything when you put it up. chevrolet_kelowna i have the locking rear diff no PW or PDL that was about a thousand dollars more. my truck was a left over and had a few options LS pkg CD player locking rear diff deep tint glass spare tire lock. i also bought running boards from G.M and installed them myself. as Vista Cruiser said get the most optioned truck you can afford.
