Heard load screaming from gearbox, goes away when peddle depressed, presumably thrust bearing. Also after a way down the road the car popped out of third. It would stay in for a short time, but would pop out again. It is fine in first and second, but will not stay in third. Would the thrust bearing cause this or is there another problem?
