59 was a people's car ,are u kidding me..lol,I don't think so impalas were stil expensive at the time back then ,even if they were worth under 3 k New or whatever ,it was still loot in the late 50's so impala was the top of the line u had to have money and be well off to own one,people's cars was anything besides the impala cuz it was harder to buy the top of the line impala sorry real talk there don't like miss information on here ..
