Hey,
I havent tried adjusting the valves yet.
I am entirely unfamiliar with this task. Im worried about messing it up and not knowing where they used to be etc.
With no real knowledge here is what Id do.
I would do the adjustment while it was running. (If possible)
Find the noisy valve, and try turning it one way or the other to see if it would remedy the ticking.
Then I would to to my #3 and just guess at which valve needed to go which way wile listening to the idle.
Soooooo, would this be correct?
mike you can do it your way .sent idle as low as you can get on carb with out staleing.i would do the push rod ones not rotateing/spinning first and get them spinning.
