So took her for the first drive in quite awhile. Definitely running better after I made sure the timing was correct. Two issues Id like to get your input on.
First, the valves ticking. I removed the cover and tried to locate the ticking valve/s. While doing this I noticed that the push rods (I think thats what they are) were spinning as they moved up and down, and 2 or 3 were not. Is this normal?
Second, I think something is up with my #3 Cylinder. While running, if I remove the spark plugs there is a noticable change in idle on all plugs but the #3. Its sparking well, and I tested the compression and its 100psi. I then checked the 2nd Cylinder and it was the same, so that ruled that out. Perhaps the valves on cylinder 3 are so out of adjustment that its unable to perform? Thoughts?
