Thanks Grumpy, that looks like some great reading, but I am not at home (heading to look at some new pistons at a swap meet) and that is a lot of reading on a cellphone.

I am looking at a set of KB168 pistons and with the heads and cam I am thinking of using, I will have a 9.75 SCR with about a 7.8-8.0 DCR.

Is this compression too low for an aluminum head or would this be about right for pump gas
