I know what you're talking about that's a flat piece in front of and behind the a arm. It's about 3 inches wide on each piece and whatever the length of the fender well to the frame. This piece is an L shaped lip of rubber. That's what happens as you get older and you accumulate parts you sometimes forget what they go to unless it's a obvious piece like door panels, seat cushions, weather stripping for doors, stuff like that.
