Thanks Dean50,
I had previously planned on the S10 5-speed and even picked up a builder for cheap cheap but after thinking of it over winter I got the bug to try the 3spdOD first; keep the column shift, no hole in the floor and fewer cross-member mods. If I don't like it then I may go to the 5spd. or be tired enough by then to just drop in an auto.

It's not about the car.
