    In response to DonSSDD

I made sure the clamps were correctly aligned with the teeth pointing out correctly, then I put clear silicone on the well cleaned rim only where the clamps sit, then install the hubcap. When the silicone dries, the hubcap has more retention. And it doesn't harm the paint, is not visible etc.
