I'm soon going to be changing from 4 speed to a 200 4R automatic overdrive in my 56 and I know I'll need to cool the tranny fluid.
My question is, have any of you used one of those finned cylindrical tranny coolers that are designed to be attached to a framerail?
Do they cool the transmission adequately or should I use something else? I would prefer to keep the fluid out of the radiator cooler if possible. Thanks!
Bobby
