Exhaust System Follow Up

Well, I’ve done more research, and it looks (based on hole spacing, on the brackets) like the original pipes were 2”. Here are three of the four hangers (I got lucky and found these online). I still need the fourth (right, rear). It turns out the hangers on the car are not original.



I also found a pair of new (old) resonators. I think they are old Walker stock. The inlet and outlet are 2”, which would seem to support my theory that the original pipes were that size.



The outlet pipes (tailpipes) on the resonators are the wrong shape, but that should be fixable, I think. I'll have to find an old-time muffler shop with someone who knows how to put precision bends in the pipes.
