I guess it depends on the price of electricity. Mine runs me about $12/mo and I don't know why I didn't put it in sooner. With the thermostat set on low, it keeps the place about 55 and only takes about 10 minutes to bring it to 65 when I want it. I have it mounted in one corner and can feel the warm air from the fan in the opposite corner.
