I'll tell them "my daughter's name is Shelby. What's it to ya?"
Seriously, what do you all think from an appearance standpoint? Is it a dated look?
Once I drill those holes in my new steel hood, it's a done deal.
Maybe a little dated. They still "look" good, but from a functionality standpoint, I bet you better than 90% of cars that pin the hood down for one reason or another use dzus fasteners nowadays(sometimes just called quarter turn fasteners).
So yeah if you are doing the job for a purpose rather than show, most use dzus.
I used dzus also on my car(pin on fiberglass hood so I needed something one way or another).
Installing them properly takes a lil more work than doing hood pins right, but I personally like the fact that they are basically flush with my hood.
