Hello all,
I noticed a slight squealing sound coming from my drivers side front. I check the brakes, pads, calipers nothing. It would come and go. Then it got worse over a few days. I took the rotor off to find that the outside bearing had gone bad. I bought replacement ones and put them in without issue. My question is this: Where the outside bearing was sitting on the spindle made a wear mark of about 1/32 - 1/64 deep and not very wide. Actually it tapers off towards the outside. Do I need to replace the spindle and do the bearings over again or will it be ok the way it is.

Thanks to all of you for your time and help.
Dave
