Rick,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I rebuilt the calipers and they in good condition to start. I do use the E-brake and it works great. Does the piston stick in the bore? Is that what you mean by rotating it with the spanner? I know about the ratcheting mechanism because it was too tight to start and the wheels wouldn't turn so I loosened 'em up just enough to get the wheels to turn. If I pull the E-brake just a bit the brakes seem to grab better but I don't think that's a good way to go.
