It does not matter what the line size is. This question comes up often and I always recommend that you make your choice based on what size fittings you are connecting to. In other words, avoid adapter fittings and make things simple.

If you have Seville rear calipers, is your e-brake connected up and being used? Does it work? There is a ratcheting adjuster in the caliper and it adjusts the pads out to the caliper. Using the e-brake gives you continuous topping off of the adjustment. It's quite possible that your calipers have never been right since installation. To get the adjusters to adjust the pad needs to contact the rotor. You may have to pull the caliper off and rotate the piston with a spanner wrench to get started.
