Finally found the 'leak' that's been causing an intermitant raw fuel smell: When I do a RH turn, fuel sloshes out the filler cap. The cap looks ok but it's the original cap (48 years old.) Would a new cap prevent this? As far as I can tell, that's where it's coming out; not the filler neck joint.
