Hi folks,

Last summer, I took the whole front end apart (54 Bel Air) and had everything sandblasted, etc. I replace the driver's side fender, as the original one was badly warped in a fire. I swear, I did not touch the doors or the hood. But now that it's back together, there's no denying it--the hood wants to move about 1/4 inch towards the drivers side. I suppose it is possible that the hood shifted somehow during the process.

Is it possible to move a hood left/right? Do you just use washers for shims, or is there a better way? Somehow, I get the feeling that this is going to be difficult.

Funny, the manual doesn't say alot about this.

Thanks,

Scott A.
