I rebuilt a '54 3-speed trans in SWMBO's dining room last year... of course she was out of town during the several days it took me to complete it! She came home and was none the wiser I am proud to report.
1953 210 Convertible, 261 with dual Carter YF 966S carbs, P.S., Remote Bendix P.B. Booster... shade-tree restoration about done.
