The reason I think the intake and carb were changed is due to the intake having an egr and the carb is a bop Qjet. I have another manifold an old Holley spread bore manifold so I will use that and try the Qjet. I have heard a Qjet is one of the best carbs for street use. The rear gear being a 3.07 is definitely not what I was hoping for. I was really hoping for a 3.73ish to 4.10.

With 3.07s, qjet and 4 speed it sounds like it should make a decent gas mileage cruiser for a 40 year old heavy truck.
