Every time I remove my door panel it seems like the shield is about to fall apart. That and I have mildew on the backs of my door panels from it not working.

Not a Monte but they all use the same stuff:
Prior to my son getting this car it had already been sitting in my fathers garage for 2 years. Is there anything I should do besides checking the brakes to make it safe & reliable for the road. This is my sons first car so...safety is a priority.

As for the rear window...it is broken, I've looked around on the internet and the cheapest price I've found was on ebay right now with a "BUY IT NOW" price of $800.00 I swear...8 hundred dollars, I've never seen a window that expensive. There's nothing special about it except it has the defroster option. Is the seller trying to rip somebody off?

Chrome restoration markers

Hi.
ok heres the issue. have a 85 monte ss with lowered front end by spindles not coils. i figured that same springs would be fine for that as in nothing would change. ride quality wise.
when i did the spindles i also changed the springs i want to say with some from summit racing. just stock replacement springs nothing special.

so new spindles and new springs equals really bad ride quality. been on there for about 2 years now and when hitting a pothole i feel the front end just broke!! lol its not semi smooth or anything its just a bamm. shocks? hum well i want to say they are made by sachs.

other questions being what shocks will give me that factory ride i had before or am i missing something here?? yes my questions are all over the place but i type as i think.. no jokes please.. lol
The Chevrolet dealer keeps putting 5W30 oil in it. It is a thinner oil and it turned out I had oil leaks after they did that. I had specifically told them to put 10W30 in it when they fixed the leaks like is called for on the filler cap. I see from the label on the windshield they put 5W30 in it again. I read on the internet that chevrolet has changed their specs to use 5W30 in cars that call for 10W30. has anyone else heard of this and is there anything wrong with using 5W30 instead of 10W30?

'95 Z34

Just accquired a 1995 Monte Carlo Z34 with a bad engine.
