Its a edelbrock 600cfm 1406 carb and i had it rebuilt while the motor was being built. i have a mechanical holley fuel pump that is top in its class. the fuel pump spits fuel when turning over but why wont the carb hold "prime"?
I have been looking lately for the front locking hubs (external, which I haven't located) to free up the front drive axles. At work I was discussing this mod with coworkers and one of them indicated that in addition to the hubs you also had to change a gear in the Xcase in order to truley disconnect for the full time option. Is this truely the case? or another case of blown smoke???

I think I pin pointed the problem

Ok so I was having a little bit of a smoke out of the tail pipe problem and I went over my motor 100% and nothing everything checked out fine! But it has a eye burning smell and I noticed a small leak under the passenger side by the tranny and again by the front driver side by the head light near the power steering pump and all the fluid is the same so I'm leaning to a vacuum modulator cause of the smell and the location of the leaks since all should only have vacuum in those areas... I have only drove it 60 miles so I hope the damage isn't to bad any opinions on this?

Hesitation bigtime

What's going on guys. This is my first time posting. I have a 1987 r10 350 tbi. I was driving along one day about 40 miles round trip and when I pulled into m neighborhood it cut off on me. Service engine light went on and on briefly. So I did a major tune up. New distributor, injectors, tbi base gasket, fuel pressure regulator, cap and rotor, plugs wires, coil, tps, esc module, coolant temp sensor, egr valve, and map sensor. Got everything buttoned back up she fired up and she ran awesome for about 20 miles. Now I have no power upon acceleration. On idle there is a slight drop then normal. When I get on it she will react but has a jerking feel. Oh yeah fuel pressure is @ 11 in. Sorry for the long read. I think thats everthing. Thanks.

Exhaust question

So I was test driving my truck after I installed my msd 6a box and I noticed my exhaust got raspy on acceleration in park it sounds fine it's only in drive
I have elected not to have the frame sandblasted/powder coated etc...I will simply power wash, sand and de-grease it myself. Does anyone have any ideas for products/processes to prime/paint the frame? This truck will not be a show truck just a weekend driver/3rd vehicle and used to pull my small boat. I have attached pics hope every can open them.

After viewing my lwb in the photos, it doesn't look half bad, maybe I should leave well enough alone.
There is about a foot long section that goes inside the fender with a mounting bracket at the bottom. I can’t see where this mount goes inside the fender. I’m also not sure of the routing of the coaxial cable.

Checked my Haynes manual but it’s useless on this topic. It does not even show the antenna. Is there a better manual available?

Does anyone have a drawing, picture or any reference as to how to fit the antenna inside the fender? If not, is there anyone who could take a stab at trying to describe the installation.

Any help would be much appreciated.
