I have a '77 Chevelle Malibu Classic Landau and I'm getting a little P-offed with my power windows.

Mid summer last year the windows both stopped working. After being on many forums and spending many dollars on after market universal relays, I and still at odds.

After buying 3 universal relays and blowing them, I purchased a new original relay. I plugged it in and bang, it blew!

If I leave the relay in place, I can cross terminals and the windows will work, but they will not with the relay alone.

Any ideas? Next step is to go manual and eliminate the power windows, but this is a real nice option.
The AM doesn't work and the 8 track partially works, however the front dash speaker doesn't work and the rear speakers are not too great. I see they are 10 ohm speakers, and assume this is important. I am planning to have my radio/8-track refurbished with an I-pod jack as well. A 1970 350 head I believe takes a spark plug with a washer while a 1971 350 head takes a tapered plug. Trying to figure out correct plugs for heads with casting number 333882 with I think were used from 1970 thru 1980. Engine is in 56 Chevy.
