The center link is evidently bad, perhaps scary bad, at the pitman arm joint. No detectible slop at the idler arm but will replace that, too. Tie rod ends seem fine.

It seems The Moog K6091 idler arm is still available, but I can't seem to find a "name brand" center link. PST offers a center link but no idea of its quality. Ditto with OER.

I have a 66 Caprice 2dr that I've been sitting on for 15 years. It's time to give it some attention. I'm looking for a source for dual exhaust head pipes (or down pipes) for the factory ram horn style exhaust manifolds. I've checked all the local shops, with no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
My car was originally a 327 power glide but the originals are long gone. I just happened to remember that there is a 427 hi-perf big block with a matching t400 in the other garage out of a 69 impala just calling my name. Is it a major deal to drop in a big block; or just minor changes? A 427 BB impala vert would be pretty cool...

'65 Impala Heat sensor question

Below is a photo of my heat sending unit wire. I have the multi gauge unit with the hot and cold needle dial (not the lights). Am I right to assume that I need the sending unit with the round top terminal?
Looks like the ones with 2 straight terminals are for the hot/cold lights, but there is also a single flat terminal unit too. My original sending unit (on the head) has been removed. I have a 396 SS.
thanks
