It has air conditioning on it also. I took the fan off the water pump last summer and it did fine until yesterday. Normally, when driving down the road about 30+ mph, the electric fan doesn't run. The ram air effect keeps the radiator cool enough. Yesterday, while driving into town to gas up, I noticed the electric fan continued to run, even at speeds of 65 mph. I have an idiot light wired in so I know when the fan is on or off. Temp gauge reads about 180 when driving down the road. Should I add a fan to the water pump, add fan and remove electric fan or leave it as is because I really don't have a problem?

41 Chevy Master Cylinder

In 2010 rebuilt master cylinder woth NOS kit, recently lost brakes backing out of garage (no accident no damage) Pulled cylinder and found rubber components mush! The fluid used was Napa bought many years ago ~ 1985 but still looked very good. I compared to some Dot 3 Prestone I have it seems that the old fluid did not have the lubricity of new fluid so bled entire system and with another NOS kit put system back into operation. Anyone that has had this problem or have any ideas on this problem please post comment. These are a censored to pull because the clutch and brake levers have to be removed with cylinder.
Today, I took the 48 out for a short drive with my wife, to pick up my truck, at a building I own a few miles away. She wanted to take a short drive, since this was the first she's been in "Clemenza" since last fall. As I came to a stop on a main highway, lo and behold, another 48 Areoline comes driving by, pulling a little pop-up trailer. The guy and his wife pull over a few hundreds later (in a safe spot) and we have a nice chat about our cars. They live about 150 miles from us, and he drives his 48 every day! Serendipity all over as I've never seen another 48 out here in rural PA!

Only remorse is that neither of us had a camera and we were all joking and laughing so much, we all failed to get one another's name!
