The reproduction clutch pedal pushrod on my '64 is bending at the point where the threads begin. Has anyone ever heard of a pushrod breaking? It's just a street clutch, nothing high performance.

I'd like to have a better pushrod but my guess is that the reproductions in all the catalogs are the same.

My thought it that I could make one starting with a higher quality rod and threading it swivels like the ones in the picture. I don't know what they're called or where to find them.

Any thoughts?

Brad
