What would fix this? It happens every now and again. Twice both 1 and 2 read lean. Is there anything I can do to fix this. Other then clearing the codes when they pop.

1996 350 5.7L 80MM throttle body, aftermarket mass Air flow, K&N full intake, MSD Coil, and short Headers.

I replaced the O2's about 30,000 miles ago maybe less.

Checked fuel pressure lately? Still running the original poppet valve setup and how many miles are on that?

As small exhaust leak will bleed O2 into the system causing the ECM to think it is lean.
Runs like a Scalded Dog!!

I have not checked the pressure as of late (if I remember correct, should be 52psi?). The original Poppets are still on there, rolling with 111340 mile as of yesterdays drive home.

**I don't think there is an exhaust leak (I will double check)**

Fuel pressure info in the FAQ but short and sweet, factory spec is 58~62 psi on the Vortec small block.
