I just got my starter fixed, put in a new battery and two new tires. Went for a quick drive and all of a sudden noticed my temp was getting to 220. Pulled in the driveway to cool a bit. When it did cool I noticed a steady leak and it looked like it was coming from the transmission coolant lines(thought I could have cracked one when I put the new starter in) but it turns out its coming from a seal that runs parallel to the coolant lines. It's at the bottom of the engine. Was thinking its the oil pan. It's rectangle in shape. Would an intake gasket failure cause a leak like this? Have read that head gasket failures on a 350 are rare. Truck has a camaro 350 with double hump heads(not sure if the head description matters). Any help is appreciated. TIA. |
