Hi Mark. I just installed a new pair of tail lights on my 56. It had custom lights, and I wanted to get stock lights on it again. I ordered the tail lights from Danchuk. I was over at Ekler's and grabbed a set of their seals also. I wanted to compare them. The seals that came with the Danchuk tail lights were a small "U" channel seal. The outside edge that is exposed is around an 1/8". They fit the bezel very well, and stayed in place during install. The Eckler's seals were a much bigger "T" channel on the outer edge. It is about 1/4". They would not stay in place no matter how hard I tried. I remember other people having that problem with the Eckler's tail light seals. I think I remember a guy saying he held them on the tail light bezel with a small string. That would still be a tough job. I am not sure if the seals that Danchuk included with the new tail lights are the same seals they sell seperately. One closing thought: the seam does not go at the middle of the bottom. The assembly manual shows it going on the inside edge if I remember correctly. If you need to see an assembly manual, I have them posted on our website for the 55, 56 & 57's. Hope that helps.
