I did pick up on the expressed idea of the Lokar style brake alongside the driver's seat, and am installing that on my 55 gasser, as I do want an emergency brake. Sat in the car and reached down and that is a very convenient location for an emergency brake, it gives you lots of "yank up" power for braking! And it will work well for parking, the handle is not in the way when getting in and out of the car. This thread has lead to some great ideas, thanks for starting it! Willy
